Yeah, don't let hype fatigue get to you. Stay away from the stans for a while if you can, then give it a shot? If you don't like meta in your fiction, though, you won't like Community.

It's kind of hit or miss for me, but overall I'd say it's pretty decent. It has some crappy episodes but also some really first-rate ones. Kind of a mixed bag. Like the anon above said, if you don't like meta don't watch it, but other than that I'd say it's worth a shot.
