Eh, I don't mind sharing but taking it back here and piling on childings wasn't cool. Is mocking done differently now or something? Maybe I'm just too old-school...

Yeah it was incredibly uncool. I didn't much like what she said but I didn't see the point of attacking her. My esteem of her actually went up because she had plenty of opportunity to jump in before the thread was closed and she didn't. Jumping back in usually makes things a thousand times worse and I give her kudos for not taking the bait.

most of the comments were posted after midnight in north america so not many people were online so it helped I think

She said it was actually her husband who said it and so it was alright. I think anon above me is right that it was about Christmas presents. There was something about grandparents too, I think.
