I've read some wonderful YA fic and some wonderful Lit fic. There's great stuff in both, but people are going to like what they like. If people prefer one over the other, there's nothing wrong with that, although badmouthing people for liking either is shitty. Read what you enjoy and don't worry about what people say.

I read voraciously in both categories and find things I like in both and things I don't in both. *shrugs* There's so much to read, I could read all day and not read everything in a lifetime. LOL I don't think I'll ever run out of stuff I enjoy, and OP shouldn't be ashamed of finding what he or she likes to read.

Exactly! I mean, if you're not enjoying it, then what's the point of forcing yourself to read it (unless it's an assigned reading of some sort, that is)?
