The OP still implicitly said that they think that people who use tumblr successfully have no life.

If your friends on LJ posted too frequently you could get bogged down there. It takes me less time to go through 24h of my Dash then it did to go through 24hs of my LJ friends page back when my fandoms were big there.

And I still don't think the op said that implicitly either. Let's agree to disagree.

I get bogged down in lj too but not enough that I'd have trouble talking with more than one person or joining a friend's discussion. Like the time I spent ten minutes expanding a 800 note picture to see if someone answered a question that was asked by someone else... It wasn't a pleasant experience and I don't envy the op trying to talk to people using reblogs.

DA

I'm starting to think the only way one can use Tumblr is if you have no life and are on the website 24/7. I don't want to live here...

They did, pretty strongly too.

No, they didn't. Learn to read.

you can't argue with butthurt losers who want to defend their loser activities on tumblr.

and yes, I'm saying tumblr people are whiney ass losers who sit around and circle jerk each other off and act like they're contributing something valuable to fandom.

if they just weren't so SJW pretentious and think they have anything of worth to 'signal boost'.

But with LJ, *at least in my experience*, people tended to make better use of tags; you might follow just this person's fic tag or that person's recap tag, etc. Hard to do that when *again, in my experience* most tumblr tags are more like #this man #is so hot #I cant stand it.
