That makes sense for RP journals, but honestly I find the vast majority of RP journals to be really awkward and weird. So why people want to replicate that "I'm performing my life via the internet!" effect on their personal blogs beats me.
The more I think about it, the more I realise that people aren't posting that because they actually think someone will be looking for them in the next 30 minutes, but just because they (unlike 99% of the people ITT) feel tumblr is an effective communication tool and they just want to be heard.
