Fucking this. If anything I'm pissed they cast Alan. I have loved that man since Die Hard, but we needed someone younger and uglier to play Snape.

THIS is why I wanted an attractive Ramsay (I don't find this guy attractive, but apparently a lot of people do). It just satisfies my inner troll to see all those fans say' omfg he's so cute but so evil, I'm conflicted because horrible people clearly can't be attractive!'

And I really hope that the show will troll the non-readers by making Ramsay look like an okay guy for an episode or two, just so people will start shipping him and Theon and then be horrified.

Martin's readers snobism towards mere show watchers is really annoying. But I get it- you had to subject yourselves to his terrible prose while people who used all that time to read better books now still get to be in your fandom...

well, it's not my fault that people in your fandom choose to act snob over shitty books! As for the "all that time", a good half of pressed asoiaf fans tend to start their posts with "I've been reading and rereading these books for X years which authomatically makes my opinions more valid", so...

Rofl. The books aren't THAT good, but they're way better than the show. Martin's prose is mediocre, but at least his characterization makes sense while the show writers just don't get half the characters and make them act in completely absurd ways.

I can understand not liking the books and the show but if you think the books are bad but prefer the show then something's wrong with you.

It's like preferring the Harry Potter movies to the books.

Yeaaah I don't think these fans will stay conflicted very long. If he's attractive they'll just find a way to woobify him/find excuses etc.
