Hey, you're OK. You'll be fine. Just breathe.

I was looking for random things to watch on Netflix and stumbled upon the TEDtalks series. I watched episode 1.03, Ze Frank's Web Playroom, and there were so many wonderful things in it, but one thing in particular was a song he made for somebody who had been having a bad day and felt alone and forgotten.

For it's chorus, he used recordings from 40-some-odd people singing "Hey, it's OK. You'll be fine. Just breathe," and without going into any detail whatsoever, it was precisely what I needed to hear, and I just wanted to share. Seriously, if you're able to access Netflix streaming (or probably find it on youtube) I totally recommend it (this particular portion is in the final two minutes.

The whole episode was just one great big lesson in how online communities are no less than "IRL" communities -- and in some ways can be even more powerful and reach even farther than the list of people we've met in person. I've heard people mention Ze Frank, but had never actually seen or heard him until now. And now I know what I'll be doing for the rest of the night.

This is a good thread. Thank you.

A video I like in a kind of a similar way, I don't know, I just like it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCj8jEzo4Xk

Thank you. I am not in a good place lately and tonight is pretty low. I don't have access to look up the video right now but it's definitely something that sounds like it could be helpful.

Honestly, right now just even seeing "Hey, it's OK. You'll be fine. Just breathe," is somewhat comforting. Little things, I guess. So thanks.

Heh. Didn't realize I replied signed in. Oh well.

Thanks for the link. That is (almost, a little, embarrassingly) calming.
