5. I think everyone has some sort of big ticket item they save up for. What's the difference between saving up for a doll and saving up for a big television? I saved up for a long time for one of those dolls, using birthday and holiday money. So what?

Sure there are idiots who should be using their money more wisely, but you can say the same with everything -- televisions, game systems, computers, fancy car parts, whatever. Why do other people's financial problems matter to you any way? I mean, if people are going to be dumb with money, that's their own problem. No reason to get your own panties in a twist about it, you know? Unless it's like... your parents or spouse or something. But random internet people? Get over it, seriously.

(Also, not all of us BJD-fans are weirdos who think their dolls are real and do photostories. To me it's just another collector's item, sort of a big action figure. And I fucking love action figures.)

14. !!!!!!!!!!! OMG I HAD TOTALLY FORGOTTEN ABOUT THOSE MAGAZINES! <3

17. I think about this too. Maybe I should write a hidden note to my mom saying "BTW, here's my password -- get on my LJ and let my online friends know that I am DEAD."

And people deserve to buy things every now and then that make them happy, right? I don't buy the dolls but I have a friend who does and she loves her dolls very much.

Yeah, exactly. If I saved up for a whole year to buy myself a big fuck-all TV, no one would probably say anything (except maybe "holy shit that is one big TV -- we gotta watch Star Wars on it."). But I don't watch TV that often, so something like that -- although very spiffy -- is not going to make me as happy as it would... a... big TV-enthusiast? Er, yeah, anyway. You know what I mean. :D

I have thought that exact thing, no lie. xD I've never actually gotten around to doing it though, lol.

Yeah, I probably should make a will, just in case, although it would read something like "to Sarah I will all of my BJD stuff; to Krysti I will all of my doujinshi and action figures; to Amanda I will my DVD collection..." because I only spend my money on totally lame/awesome geek stuff. XD

My mom would be absolutely horrified if she knew I even think about this stuff.
