Uh, yeah. A decent amount of people, judging by responses I've seen to the news of the new Riddick movie. Typical thread on Fark, for example, has the "Riddick wasn't so bad," "Riddick was a decent Conan-in-space sci-fantasy," and "Watch the director's cut. It's so much better" commenters in decent quantity. Not too many "That movie totally sucked and had no redeeming features" types.

I liked Pitch Black but hated the Riddick movie. But that could have been because Karl Urban looked so damn goofy.
