Soooo busy. But productive. I've been sick for so long, and largely bedridden, that even though I'm paying for it now with muscle spasms like whoa, I'm really freaking proud of myself and happy that I haven't been flat on my back in bed with my laptop AT ALL today until now.

One of my rabbits had a vet appointment, which meant I needed the car, which meant taking my girlfriend to work. And since her workplace is next to mine, instead of telecommuting from bed as usual, I stopped in and worked my last couple hours of the week at the office, and got to see my coworkers for the first time in months. And then ran errands afterwards, and then there was the vet visit, and basically I was out of the house - and more importantly, out of my bed - all day.

So physically painful. So emotionally gratifying.

I'm glad you had a good day out of the house. That icon is perfect for the day you had.

Thank you! And yes, Uhura in mirrorverse (and Nichelle's fierceness and strength in general) is my go-to for "Screw this crap, I'm in charge now." Which is pretty much my relationship with my own body. ;)
