the source code says you put width and height as height="537" width="806"

background images can't be "cut" so if you want the whole picture to be seen, put in the real height and width or resize the image, upload it and link to the resized image

huh, for some reason i thought is was telling it to resize the picture to 537 x 806

the more you know!

i'll chalk it up to a win, at least i got it to post in an anon comment x_x'

oh I think I know what happened! if you're using the "img" code, height="537" width="806" after the url tells the browser to resize and display the picture so it is 537 pixels tall and 806 pixels wide

the "table" code is different tho. the height="537" width="806" part of the "table" code tells the browser to make a table cell that is 537 pixels tall and 806 pixels wide and displays the image in a tile pattern behind the table. so if the cell is bigger than the image, more than one image is seen but not all copies of the image are whole. if the cell is smaller than the image, the image is cropped like what happened with your picture.
