I've read this opinion before and I still don't understand it. She knew he was on the yacht. She told him where it was. She knew he was in her cabin. She knew he was coming into the shower. That's why she didn't react to him. He didn't make her have sex with him to save her. Where is that even coming from? It was consensual if it happened at all. No Bond movie has ever shied away from showing the actual "act" before. But they didn't in this one. Yes, we assume they have sex but we have no way of knowing.

I'm not saying Bond is a knight in shining armor. I'm saying he did NOT commit rape on that yacht. Because he didn't. She invited him aboard. She didn't say a thing when he entered the shower. She was a victim, but not of Bond.

This. Though I have every reason to believe she thought Bond was Silva at first before he spoke since you can see her tense when he touches her. Her disappointment at the knock on the door not being Bond set the reaction in the next scene.

People need to stop reading so damn much into things. This social justice nonsense is getting ridiculous.

She told him to get on the yacht as part of their "I get you to Silva, you kill him and get me out alive" deal. That's not the same as "why don't you drop by my yacht for a nightcap and sex?"

Thank you!

Well, she was waiting for him in her bathrobe (naked underneath) and champagne. Nightcap and sex seemed to be what she was aiming for?

Apparently you missed the sexually-charged air and are making a bigger victim out of her than necessary. But I'm not surprised by this from you.
