That used to bother me until I realized that most of tumblr is between the age of 13-20 and that's usually when people are starting to learn more about themselves and figure out their identities and what kind of person they are, etc., I mean, a lot of teens do this and it can be kind of annoying but it's normal. I only get annoyed when they get all militant about it

True, that's more of a general problem with teens though, not necessarily sexual or gender identity, identity politics

Teens and immature people in general all want to feel special and simultaneously belong to a group, it's just part of being ~teen~ I suppose
