I don't think James Bond is supposed to be a gentleman, so if your expectations were for him to respect and not objectify women, you were going to be disappointed. He is too damaged to genuinely worry about the emotional baggage of other people.

However, the way it was presented was VERY ambiguous, and did immediately make me wonder. Had she invited him, if she even knew he was in the cabin when she started her shower, had they already had sex, had she done more to invite it that make sexy eyes at him.
IMHO it was was either intentionally leading us wonder about how skeevy it was, or it was shoddy editing.
