What a shock, hearing this argument from someone with privilege.

Whatever privilege I have didn't help nearly as much as my skill at saving money, my work ethic, my ability to stand out on a street corner and pass out my resume and say, 'I need a job. If you know of anyone hiring, please pass my resume on."

I worked very hard for what I have and I work very hard to keep it. Whining that I'm only where I'm at because of 'privilege' only reinforces what I already know.
