My sister and I had pet rabbits when we were kids. Their behavior wasn't anywhere near your bunny's, but there were instances where people got scratched and/or bitten when they didn't handle them properly, so I always knew that rabbits could do some serious damage if necessary.

(And on a sad note, one of our neighbors ended up accidentally killing my rabbit when he was taking care of it when we were out of town for a few days. The rabbit hutch was actually attached to our barn, with an outside/inside portion was was raised a few feet off the ground. Our neighbor didn't get the outside door latched all the way after changing their water and feeding them and my rabbit managed to push it open and fell out and broke his back, so we had to have him put down. :/)
