(Anonymous) 2013-01-12 04:46 am (UTC)(link)It's unfortunately somewhat common too. I am a very sarcastic woman and I love making jokes, women are typically very attracted to that aspect of my personality, but with men I get a 50/50 reaction, some men are very attracted to it like the women are, but the rest often seem very threatened by it. It has nothing to do with them not responding to my type of humor either, it can often be easy to tell when a man has a very instinctive reaction to a woman telling a joke.
Some guys do not want me making jokes, they want me to sit there and giggle at their jokes and be mesmerized by their genius. Yeah, I don't think so buddy.

(Anonymous) 2013-01-12 07:46 am (UTC)(link)I do think that there are still a substantial number of men for whom a sense of humor in a woman means laughing at jokes, not making them.
