I found that it's less a men versus women thing, and more a cruel humour versus kind humour thing. I love crass, gross, body function humour but those can be done without cruelty too. Ultimately my question is, are they happy to be on the receiving end of their jokes? If the answer is yes, it takes more skills to craft because being mean and nasty is just way too easy.

Anyways, Ellen is great because she keeps it classy.

Yes. Ellen laughs with kindness, and that matters to me. It's like finishing a game on no-kill mode, this is for the ultimate badasses.
