Thanks so much for pointing this out! I've been discussing the mysogyny in this movie (not only the shower scene but also M and Moneypenny when there's not one strong female character to contrast the other three) with a lot of people and no one - not even femenist women - saw it. It's alarming.

...how, exactly, was M not a strong character? She's spent a significant portion of her career making touch choices and now is handling the consequences of those choices. She never breaksdown into woobie mode over them, and she faces them with dignity, utilizing the resources she has at her disposal and her own skills to get shit done. She has flaws, but they don't stem from her being a woman and something a man would never do, but simply just flaws that any other human being might have as a result from being in such a position of power as her.

And, to be honest, I'm not seeing that much weakness in Eve, either. She's a fairly strong character in her own right. She's assigned to desk work because she shot down MI6's top agent, not because she's a woman or for reasons that only exist in women. And even then, she continued providing support to Bond in the field. I'm not saying there weren't problems with her character portrayal, there were plenty, but "weakness" didn't seem to be one of them.
