What is the current posting delay? I submitted a secret 6 days ago and I haven't seen it yet.

There is never a "current posting delay."

Secrets are posted starting the Saturday after the Submissions Post closes (i.e. today), not on the same week. If you submitted it last week (six days ago), it's posted sometime this week (before next Saturday) and so on.

your secret could show up any day from today (which it didn't) to this friday

it's random, unless it has a "trigger warning" or a "spoiler warning"; then it shows on friday for sure (if it has a "fandom: xxx" label, it shows up in the later days of the week, too, I think)

i don't know if it's enough to ask you to take the secret down (especially as i have no idea if the poster knows this), but #9 is a private picture of dylan that was stolen from someone who actually hacked his mother's facebook account.

out of a mixture of hate for that person and most of dylan's fans trying to show that we're not like that and respect his privacy very much, i'd like to ask you to take it down (although i understand if you won't since it's technically not against any rules)

i don't know, sorry.

this picture, along with one of dylan and a small dog were popping up all over tumblr (about a week or two ago i think?) but then it was somehow revealed those were actually pictures from his mom's private fb account and someone had hacked it to get to them.

most of the fans got pretty enraged/disappointed with whoever that was and immediately took those pictures down from their own sides, but there are still some out there.

i just think that such a blatant ignorance of someone's privacy is pretty disgusting, which is why i asked for you take the secret down.

but apart from various fans stating their opinion about this on tumblr/twitter/... i don't think there's anything official?

if you mean that the pictures being from his mom's facebook was just a rumour, then no, i'm pretty sure that's actually very true.

i suppose that's a possibility, but i think there'd be a smarter strategy than giving out pictures just to have most people take them down again?

it's just my personal opinion, but claiming the pictures were stolen doesn't give dylan any more sympathy points from me, it just makes me hate the person who stole them.

besides, the 'rumour' of the pictures being stolen came up pretty quick after they got out, and the entire thing was over in a day or two. if it was some weird advertisement campaign trick i'd have given the pictures more time to get around before i'd have released that bit of 'information'.

but, as stated before, i don't actually know who said they were stolen, so i don't know how legitimate that claim was/is.
