Now that there is a better dub I can look back on 4kids and laugh at it. But man I was so angry about it at the time.

Took the words right out of my mouth? Now? It's hilarious. When it was happening and a BUNCH of people were being turned off from One Piece by it? It wasn't funny at all.

Not big on their dubs but man did 4kids produce a great TMNT cartoon.

Damn, that was a nostalgic moment! Remember watching that when I was like 11/12.

I still love the old Ultimate Muscle dub, not even gonna lie (I never got DVD's, damn it).

It was all fun and games until they fucked with One Piece. I put up with the weird edits to weapons and the bad jokes, but when they cut out an entire freaking canon arc (not a filler arc, canon! Integral to the story!), I threw up my hands and actually begged for it to stop.

I like the YGO dub

YGO seems to be the second-most-accepted dub by them, after Pokemon; probably due to LittleKuriboh.

hmm, yeah, maybe LK has something to do with it. I didn't even watch YGOTAS until I was partway done with YGO.

Either way, another part of the reason may be that not all of DM got decent English subtitles.

Also Dan Green. At least, that is my reason.
