Same, OP. I don't remember much from the original cartoon, but when I rewatched parts of it I was stricken by how much I wanted Shredder/Krang. It would be majestic.

i know it's not the same, but in the doom patrol #34 (the soul of a new machine) there's a pair of supervillains, one of whom is a brain in a jar, who love each other very much and finally get to demonstrate it.
