...no, both my parents speak Russian. But my father swears liberally and my mother never does, and she's horrified when I say Russian swear words.

What I meant was, do you live in a Russian environment? Because that's pretty interesting if it's somewhere outside the RF.

I'm a US child of Russian-Jewish immigrants. My parents speak Russian to each other and English (my mother) or a Russian-English Mix (my father) to me. I have he unfortunate ability to mimic Russian well enough to sound fluent, except that I am not fluent at all. I can mostly understand Russian, though, even if I can't really speak it.
