I love Supes, and I love Jimmy, and I'm a serial multishipper, but for some reason Superman/Jimmy just...never occurred to me. It's not like I dislike it, it never even entered my mind as an option. Which is weird, especially since Jimmy's fascination with Superman (and fondness for Clark) often borders on obsession.

I wonder if the fact that Jimmy's Superman fanboyism is mostly played as comic relief has something to do with the lack of shipping? I dunno.

Good point, actually. I don't know if it's just slash goggles, but I've always liked the idea. I got a ton of copies of Superman's Pal recently and it just reignited my interest - there doesn't seem to be a panel where Jimmy isn't mooning over Superman. :3
