Notes:

Sorry, early today!

Also: I'm not going to officially warn for tongue-in-cheek "triggers" just to provide anyone with a fandom-specific in-joke when there are none in the secret.

This is a weird stereotype because I've only ever known nice huskies. And they're so pretty!

Actually, no one type of dog is all bad or all good. For instance, my now-late beagle mix and I were attacked three times while walking and each time, it was a different breed of dog: 1) Labrador (farm dog not used to the suburbs, yet the owners left him out in the yard when they left for vacation); 2) Rottweiler mix (repeat offender on his third strike, apparently; did the worst damage and ripped into my dog's back, so he had to get stitches and the offending dog was put down); 3) Boxer (the only mean boxer I've ever met; the owners actually told me, "He smells fears on people and other dogs"). "Good" vs. "mean/evil" dogs usually have more to do with owners' treatment combined with that individual dog's personality rather than something innately present in the breed. Yes, certain breeds have certain tendencies, but dogs are also highly individual, so yeah, that stereotype is pretty much bogus.

TL;DR: This stereotype is stupid and anon still has issues with her three dog attacks (yes, yes, I know the drill: "cool story bro", something involving "special snowflake", etc.)

Actually in studies Huskies are right below Pitbull and Rottweilers in biting or death stats. I think huskies don't get as much bad PR because they're cute. They aren't trained as fighting dogs/protection do the fact that they are so high is actually kinda scary now that I think of it.

Obviously overall death by attack stats are pretty low. I've known sweet sweet "problem dogs" and terrible other dogs.

As a personal anecdote my grandfather's chihuahua was killed by a Husky and he was bitten trying to save him in his own yard.
