I don't know but I just started rereading Catch-22 and I suspect that seeing it over and over again on f-s might have had something to do with it.

I loved it, especially the bits where they were able to go into Hell. I read it when it came out, and was going to write to Joseph Heller about it, then never did, and regretted it when he died not that long afterwards.

I have to say I didn't realise it was supposed to be bad? I guess it's not genius like Catch 22, but I love knowing what happened to them all.
