I feel slightly bad for commenting despite the fact that I have nothing important to say... but man, Aragorn looks like a sword fighting Jesus in that poster.

No wait, I gotta add something worth wile, too. Um. I've yet to see the Hobbit, (yeah yeah, I also waited for the DVD releases for Avengers and The Dark Knight Returns before watching them. So sue me) but from what I've gathered from all the secrets here and the way people have been talking about it, it's a very different beast from LoTR. So, it might make sense that the fandoms are different too? Maybe? And to be fair, Hobbit fandom is still shiny and new to everyone, so it's no wonder that it looks like a playground right now. I'm sure the good fics will come once people grow tired of reading nothing but smut and badfic filled with cliches.
