WHERE TO START? EVERYONE KNOWS SWEDES MUST BE THE STUPIDEST NATIONALITY ON EARTH, MAYBE EVEN STUPIDER THAN AMERICANS... THEY MAKE BAD PORN AND THEY GAVE US INDEPENDENCE INSTEAD OF KEEPING US, AND GETTING ALL OUR OIL MONEY.

THEY ALSO FIGURED OUT THAT THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE IS SOMETHING THAT NO ONE CARES ABOUT SO WE GOT THAT. THEY KEPT THE OTHER NOBEL PRICES FOR THEMSELVES.

THEY ARE A POORER, STUPIDER, SHORTER AND LESS AWESOME VERSION OF NORWEGIANS. HECK EVEN THEIR VIKINGS SUCKED, WHILE US NORWEGIAN VIKINGS WHERE BUSY TAKING OVER PARTS OF BRITAIN THEY TRADED STUFF WITH RUSSIANS...

AND OFF COURSE WE ALWAYS BEAT THEM IN SKIING! THE BEST THING YOU CAN EVER LISTEN TO IS SWEDISH TELEVISION PRESENTERS WHEN WE BEAT THEM AT SKIING AGAIN! THEY ARE EVEN TOO STUPID TO UNDERSTAND THAT THEY WILL NEVER EVER BEAT US AT SKIING, BECAUSE THEY SUCK AND WE ARE MADE OF WIN!

I could go on forever actually, but it is getting late, and most of it will get into "only Scandinavians will understand what I am talking about" territory.

You want me to talk about Swedes? I don't want to offend anyone, and really it will sound pretty mean. Mostly because as you know us Scandinavians tend to be pretty mean to each other*...

Hah! I'm kind of suggary? Since I'm a Danish (worst joke ever, I'm sorry) - but uh yeah, I'm from Denmark :)

Heh, I'm mostly just curious what other Scandinavians are saying about each other. Mean or otherwise.

* It's the Danish way as well. Well, at least mostly towards the Swedes, we seem to be fonder of you guys. I think perhaps because Norwegian is to understand, from our perspective? Either that, or all that warfare between Denmark and Sweden back in the day.

Ah we prefer you guys over Swedes, you guys are happy-go-lucky-drunks and Swedes are looked at as stupid.

Only time we get annoyed with Danes is if you don't give us points during Eurovision...

We got a saying in Norway: It isn't important to win as long as we beat the Swedes.

Now tell me about how Danes look at Swedes and Norwegians.

Here I was, assuming Norwegians and Swedes kind of banded together, and that we were just ignored and chillin' by ourselves, and it turns out Danes and Norwegians are the ones banding together! We prefer you over the Swedes too. I mean, we can understand what you're saying a lot easier than Swedes, for a start. In our view, Swedes are sort of the rednecks of Scandinavia, if we're talking about stereotypes. Norwegians are just kinda there, chilling on skis and nice?

We pretty much only get annoyed with you guys during Eurovision too.

We'll usually root for you if we can't win. We only root for the Swedes if both Denmark and Norway are out of the picture, and then very grudgingly.

Don't go around thinking that dear! We love you guys, we vacation in Denmark all the time. AND YOU GOT LEGOLAND! And an awesome zoo, with lions! Oh and you got great summer houses with swimming pools and a jacuzzi!* and I drank my first legal Cider in Denmark... Actually thinking about I think the first time I got drunk on something that wasn't moonshine and "legally" was in Denmark, at a camping place thingy...

As I said, it is more important to beat the Swedes than win (except in handball? Then you are our competition?), so we want you guys to win at Eurovision rather than the swedes too...

Aw, that warms my Danish heart! And yes, we do have Legoland and all kinds of neat stuff. And plenty of opportunities for drinking, that much is for sure.

Ah yes, in handball we're definintely in competition with everyone. Although the grudging cheering does apply if we're out of the picture.

Sounds like lovely summers, although I'm terribly biased. I haven't spent a lot of time in Norway, but what I've seen was incredibly beautiful!

You've been to Norway? Where?
*I hate handball, don't follow it so I know almost nothing about it (except our female team had a lot of lesbians at one point.). But you can't exactly escape it.

Heh, nice to know.

We used to have a good female handball team, but these days the male team is considered better. I think. I don't follow it all that closely, either, I just know the things you can't avoid knowing (since it's inescapable here as well).

I've been on a trip along the coast, I can't remember all the places :s It was years ago. I do remember we sailed into Geirangerfjorden, and seeing a lot of absolutely beautiful nature!
