(Anonymous) 2013-01-15 09:13 pm (UTC)(link)I see a lot of people expressing comfort over finding a label that they feel fits them. I see people being mean and nasty because they're offended that anybody IDs as demi. And I see people expressing hurt at the mean and nastiness.
I don't see anyone saying "OMG, all those sexuals are such SLUTS!" as has been suggested recently. I don't see people crying because "The LGLBTQers don't accept me!!" and I don't see very many people even bringing up orientation (let alone whether they are cisgendered and heterosexual or something else) nor demanding to be let in on the super-secret LGBTQ handshake. So get over yourself.
