I can't say I'll be around to see it as the first two episodes bored me to tears but at least she has chemistry with the creepy older brother. Her two supposed love interests? Not so much.

The promos didn't make this seem like anything but "'Revenge' but with a cop!" And I couldn't make it past the first episode of Revenge.

Is this worth checking out? (Does she do any outside police work, or is it all about the tangled interrelations of one family in one house? Can't see how that won't get old, but open to hearing why not.)

It's weird because Revenge is all about punishing the culprits whereas Deception is about finding the killer of the main protagonist's best friend. The focus is different.

She does undercover police work while navigating the complicated relationships in the family.

just last night i watched episode 2 and dumped the show...it's like Revenge without the revenge...i think both shows are awful, but Revenege was still heaps better than this
