(Anonymous) 2013-01-16 01:02 am (UTC)(link)I think to some extent it is a thing where you really like it or it's just not your thing - if you're not into extremely literate, clever lyrics dealing with serious emotional themes combined with poppy/folky rock songwriting (or however you want to describe their musical oeuvre), it's not your thing. But (I just tuned into their stream for the song before this so I don't know what they've played) (I'm not really into the whole vlogbrothers thing) but maybe give a couple other songs a listen on YT or something? I mean, or not, it's totally up to you, if you just don't like them that's cool too.
