I personally think PK is a crapload better than NANA. NANA had a wee bit too much melodrama and sex for my tastes (no, I'm not a prude, it's just that Hachi's character isn't likeable to me)

First time I watched that show, my friend and I bought about twenty dollars worth of bread and just ate it. It was fun, up until we both got really, really sick.

That show is so amazing. I want to eat that bread and have one of those little cut scenes.

Ugh, me too. I really can't stand Hachi. And I always feel bad when I don't like the main character. Plus, all people from Tempest (or whatever it's called, I forgot) are really, really obnoxious to me.

20. So much agreement. That... birthday party arc or whatever killed my interest in the comic because it hit Megatokyo levels of nothing interesting happening for long stretches of time. I can't even remember how long it actually ran because ultimately the answer is "too long" no matter what.

Yasu to me seemed like the only plausible character to me, since he's pretty sane overall. Also, Ai Yazawa is an amazing artist and writer, but I personally think that she's dragging NANA a bit too long :\.

I'm a big Final Fantasy fan, but Megaten is right up there too because they're just so...awesome. The games seriously don't get the love they deserve. I've come to love Shin Megami Tensei games so much that I buy them just because of that name--I know the game will more than likely kick ass. And, the soundtracks are usually wonderful as well.

And, your friends aren't really your friends if they hate you for liking something different from them.

I don't think it's so much that they're upset people like their culture, I think it's more they're upset that they idolize their culture so much they actually wish they were Asian, as if that would automatically solve all their problems and make them happier with themselves. And think everyone/thing American sucks. Um, no.

1 - I can't say anything about its manga because I haven't read any of it, but I did drop its anime version because it just got to repatitive (sp?) and dull for me. So in a way you're not alone. XD;

6 - I hate that show too but Brenda Song is totally hot.

7 - I can sympathize with you, except I'm that way with anything I make on CS3. D: Anyways, why not post some links here to fanfics you've written to put them to your test?

8 - Tell that person to STFU and get over the fact other people like series s/he does not. For example, I believe Death Note to be an incredible series, but I don't use it as an excuse to bash someone else's opinions over what show s/he likes just as much. That's just fanbratty-ness right there.

21. I'm 22 in a few weeks and ever since I picked up and liked the the first game when it first came out I've been deemed a little kid by everyone who knew. Guess what?
