I sometimes mean to reply later then just totally forget, or can't think of anything to say and decide to come back to the text later and again, forget. But maybe she just hasn't seen them yet?

I agree with this; call her, and if she still doesn't respond it might be time to let her go. Sorry. :/

I agree that OP should give the girl a call and give her a chance to get back in contact. Sometimes people miss calls/texts, are busy when they get them, or aren't great at remembering to return them.

I don't call it snarking on demisexuals, I call it musing about someone who belongs to half the population but needs a special label to distance themselves from those people.

I wasn't the one who started the argument, and I was simply answering a question. Don't get your normal, plain old panties in a bunch.

Being called 'normal' and 'accepted' is not an insult, nor is it oppression. One must wonder why someone is so desperate to have strangers see them as such when they aren't. It really isn't all that 'cool' and 'special' to be considered abnormal and unholy by society (Which only being attracted to people you ~love is not by any stretch of the imagination) In fact it sucks. If the only ~meanymean going your way is being reminded you're about half the population then count yourself lucky and find a hobby.

Is it possible she's not that into her phone? I frequently silence mine to teach and then don't remember I've done so until sometimes days later. *headdesk* So *that's* why nobody called me. :)

That sucks. Like others said maybe she's just not big on texting? Other than that, how did the date actually go?

This reminds me of the guy I dated briefly about a year ago...he asked me on a date online right after I went out of the country. I said sure, when I get back. Then he proceeded to text me for the next couple months while I was out of the country, with no phone service and wonder why I wasn't getting back to him.

Then it took him forever to talk to me again when I got back home, and apparently part of the reason was that I never responded to his texts so he thought I wasn't interested.

He had a "well, herp a derp" moment when we had that conversation lol
