maybe you're too young-- when you get older, if you're still a virgin, there's quite a bit of "shaming" in the form of teasing and jokes being made at your expense, being called frigid or a prude, being told you must think you're so ~special~, etc. You might always be getting pressured to have sex, too. Of course virgins are treated as paragons of virtue BY ADULTS in high school. Those adults don't want high schoolers having sex. Things change when you get older.
