I got totally used to Terezi's, and I just think of her as speaking in a really grating, shrill voice. /is a subvocaliser

tbph I try to avoid fan-readings of Homestuck - I 'know' how everyone sounds and I'd be disconcerted to hear any alternatives. Just not my thing.

I didn't say you should have to listen to them...I just happen to like a few particular interpretations quite a lot. Fan-voicing isn't for everyone but I love it.

That's why I've never gotten into audiobooks.

I've done audiobooks a few times but yeah, dialogue can be really weird to me, especially when the reader is trying to throw their voice for a character who's nothing like them re. gender/age. Odd thing is, I used to love reading aloud to my little brother (Discworld, mostly) and finding ways to Do All The Voices. *shrug*
