that sounds like a great procedure for me, and no i wouldn't mind that at all. i have actually considered a full hysterectomy a number of times but since i don't have a medical problem it'd be an elective surgery i can't afford.

That sucks - i am so very glad i got a hysterectomy, and it would be your best option. Since you're ftm, would it be considered elective? Or, since they're so very bad, you could play that up a little and just go on and on about the pain and etc. and bc isn't an option, etc....

I dunno. I got mine because i thought it was the root of my constant illness/pain, but it turned out i had Crohns and some fucked up innards. Best of luck, anon.

i haven't been to see the therapist to officially start jumping through the hoops yet, so it would still be considered elective unfortunately. i'd be able to get one next month at the earliest since that's when my appointment with the therapist is. they usually make you wait at least six months though since i think it's considered part of srs.

Just a word of warning: sterilization procedures can be a bitch and a half to get, depending on where you are. Many doctors (at least here in the US) refuse to do them on childless females under 35, even if you have a legitimate reason for wanting/needing it done. If you're persistent in your demands, or if you can gain a sympathetic ear, you'll have better luck, but don't be surprised if they tell you they won't do it. Just don't be discouraged, either.
