Yeah, I'd call that more of a courtesy warning, and I'm with you. I don't want surprise!porn or surprise!dead animals everywhere or something like that, even though those are more just squicks. (I mean...porn doesn't squick me per se? but it's something I try to avoid.)

Not the same thing as a TW and used for a completely different reason, but still a nice thing to have.

I'm still waiting for the list someone talked about on this site at one point, the 'No, you really don't want to watch that movie, because the dog dies' list. That's one 'warning' I'd like to see added to mainstream media.
