(Anonymous) 2013-01-18 04:46 am (UTC)(link)No, I meant what I said. It seems typical of fandom to me, in a sad way, that people are more willing to attach their names to negative comments than to positive ones. If everything was anon, I wouldn't have said anything.
After reading your other comment, it seems I was misunderstanding how anonymity works in fandom_secrets culture, which is probably my fault because this is my first time commenting here. It seems that people submit secrets because they want the audience here to see them rather than because they are actually "secrets." "Secret" to me would mean "I am unwilling to put the exact same content on a blog with my name attached to it. But perhaps the nature of the community has evolved, in a way that I didn't fully grasp before commenting here.
I hope that clears it up.
