As a reader, I'll go anywhere; so far as authors go, I find the best ones tend to be the crossposters, rather than those who stick to only one site. If you're fandom-savvy enough to be familiar with navigating and posting procedures on three or four sites, and serious enough about your fic to take the time, that's a pretty good sign.

Hooray! As someone who compulsively posts all their fic to ff.net, A03, DA and two different LJ communities as well as my own LJ, I now feel a bit more like a thorough person, and a bit less like a desperate, needy comment-seeker.
