I seriously don't get it. I mean in a series where the majority of the main cast (3/5, IIRC, possibly 4/5) was shown on screen to have bisexual relationships, how is killing any one of them "fridging"? At the end of that series EVERYBODY dies and only 2 people remain alive: 1 straight and 1 pan (though I believe his term is omnisexual. It was coined before "pansexual" became a thing).

So yeah, even though I hate that Ianto died, I'm kinda confused at the rage.

Both "pansexual" and "omnisexual" have been around for a while, actually. Pansexual just seems to be the more commonly-used term.
