Rem was the absolute best. One of the strongest female characters in that entire series, I say.
She really got the short end of the stick. D: I think the movie gives her a little justice, though.

15. That really depends on the characters (not necessarily these two, but in general). Some people don't behave according to any gender role whatsoever, so why would that change if their genitalia was switched?

22. It's one reason I staff. Most the people running the show tend to be in their late twenties, thirties, even fourties (if not higher in a few cases), and you don't have to deal with the tweens near as much. And it doesn't help that many cons are advertising that they're 'family friendly' nowadays. I find it slightly disturbing when I have a parent trying to get me to let their twelve year old daughter into the 18+ yaoi panel.

1) I only call it DESU NOTE to make fun of it. Mostly because of /a/'s influence. I still love you Light-o!

5) Relena yes! Though I can't say I was ever a basher, actually I've loved her since I first watched GundamW, but it always makes me happy to see people that have turned around and started to at least like her character more. I admit I'm a little obsessed, I made a whole shrine to her. Hahaha.

But I really wish I knew who this RPer was, cause I definitely want to check them out~ :3

5. Oh man. I found yaoi through GW, myself. Read fic without ever seeing the anime. And I loathed Relena, so, so much. Good lord, what an idiot I was.

20. Is that odd? I love some of my own work. Now, I'm not thinking it's spectacular awesome or whatever, and some of the old stuff is so hilariously terrible, but I write fanfic that I want to read. As in, the subject matter is what I would love to find written anywhere else. And with the added bonus that I know exactly what I intended in a fic, while the reader might not due to my lack of skill. Plus I enjoy editing my own fiction as well--I have a far harder time actually writing down the stuff than rereading to fix it.

So I've never understood how some people write stuff then can never look at it again.

Yes, I have to agree with you there. It's probably the best anime I have seen in years, really. Not one episode has been boring to me. And the whole cast is love &hearts

17. I'm a EdWin fan and I would have been very pissed if that happened. It's very out of character for Winry. For one thing.

I've always loved Relena. Always. Hell I even laughed when my dad would watch the show for Relena. "All these other people are idiots" he'd say. "She's the only character in this show that makes any sense", he'd say.

And I sort of think he's right, even if she was super idealistic and her way of doing things isn't practical in the Wing universe really.

TL;DR I love Relena and hate the flack she gets from fans.

22. You should come to the UK, no one is allowed at the big cons, like Amecon/Ayacon etc. unless you're 16+, and most of the people that go are 18+ which is always nice since you meet such a variety of people, even couples that are in their 40's or something 8D

11. Me too. I'm only good at one-shots, but they never get as much attention as mutli-chaptered fics. :(

3. Oh do I ever know the feeling. I feel that way about The Lovely Bones - I'd love for there to be a fandom, and yet at the same time I'm glad there isn't, because I can only imagine the disturbing necro fics. Same with Julie Kenner's Demon series - Allie would be turned into the Sue to end all Sues.

8. In some cases I agree - but sometimes, secrets are secrets for a reason. That said, the "OMG I think all Naruto fans suck" gets annoying. But admitting you're sick of people telling you to watch this or that to me isn't bashing. Heck, I understand the points of some of the Harry Potter bashers, and I love the series. (Although some of the bashers of that have been insulting too, sorry to say, so who knows?)

1. Yeah, I hate that too. I have no problem with people calling it that as a joke or to make fun of it, but when fans call it that... Augh.

2. SAME HERE. As in, I pretty much quit the series after that chapter, too, and not because of L but because of Rem. Oh dear god, I love her so much, and I feel so sorry for her. And after she died, so did my interest for the series. Le sigh.

10. that movie was so corny and cliche and cheesy and silly AND I REALLY ENJOYED IT. I need to download that "status quo" song. it's so catchy.

1. Much like others, I only say Desu Noto to tease. And I say it in the most over-dramatic voice I can muster, often drawing out the o's. It's quite fun. :D

11. I kinda feel you there. I would love it if I could get a whole bunch of comments on fics I write, but that really only happens if you do chapter things and...I just can't muster it most of the time. The fic I have the most comments on, ever, is a multi-chapter that I gave up on like four years ago. And I STILL get the wayward comment. WRY?
