I used to hate them, and was really annoyed about the fact that California puts them on *everything*, but after a couple of years out here, I've learned that avocados are, in fact, delicious. And now I get confused when my east coast relatives get excited that Subway has avocado for a limited time, since it's always an option here.

I'm from the Midwest and oh my word was I excited when they started having avocados on sandwiches. Some restaurants do it all or most of the year but if one doesn't when I'm there that always disappoints me. =( Literally the only reason I eat at Subway - I'm a vegetarian and I don't like cheese on sandwiches - but a veggie sandwich with avocado? yummmmmm
