OP here - i have a hard time unseeing the incest, that's what bugs me. Age gaps have never bothered me, my mom's 15 years older than my dad.

OP you needed to make this clearer then, because if your Mum is 15 years older, there's not that much difference between your own parents situation and Sam Taylor Wood and her husband. (I have no idea who he is, but know her, she's a famous and respected artist in the UK)

The discussion has focussed on the age difference, which clearly wasn't your intent.
