There's nothing wrong with not finding certain ethnic groups unattractive. A lot of British people have similar looks (to me, anyway), and I think most of them are quite plain. Not necessarily ugly, but not attractive either. Like a potato or a brick or something.

Then there are the accents, some of which could be a turn-off even if the person speaking was extremely attractive.

Anglo-Saxon is, though, and that is probably what they are thinking of.

Actually, it's very unclear whether one can meaningfully talk about 'Anglo-Saxon' as an ethnicity, but either way, it's just stupid and ill-informed to ignore the fact that there are plenty of British people who are not, in fact, white.
