Nights into Dreams. Apparently it's better now, but back in the fandom's youth? People got ridiculous about the main character's gender, if the dream-creatures had hair under their hats, if they could remove their clothing, how the dreamworld worked, if you should use D&D rules in RPG or not, the alignment of characters *coughRealacough*, if they were related or not, how the hell to define a Sue in a world you can basically do anything... Oh sorry, despite the canon taking place in a literal dreamworld we're gonna put lots of restrictions to keep things realistic!

I ended up retreating to mail- and AIM-rp with friends from school.

...sorry, I'm apparently still bitter.
