His terrible parenting is the main reason I don't ship Kotetsu/Barnaby - Wild Tiger needs to get his own house in order before he does anything else. It was also one of the things that was disappointing about the end of the series.

Same here, along the fact you could see he still feel sorrow and guilty for Tomoe's death. Sure there's people whose sorrow can fad quick, but it wasn't in his case.
