And, see, I would happily ship any of those pairings while adding in Winry/Sheska (I take it they didn't really interact in Brotherhood but they do in FMA) and Roy/Hughes.

There's a Roy/Hughes doujinshi called Cigarettes that I really liked back in the days. I think there were scanlations floating around but I don't know if you can find it now.

You could also check the LJ comm, FMA_OT4. We're pretty...slow? Dead...? Right now, but we were pretty busy back in the day. It was posts for any permutation of Maes/Gracia/Riza/Roy, so you'll have to sort through what you don't want.

I just want there to be EPIC Roy/Hughes, which doesn't seem to exist as much as epic gen or epic Roy/Ed. Though rationally I understand that people want to write future fic and Hughes being dead makes that hard. So I am irrationally cranky!

Well...have you checked out my Marking Time story? It's epic. Sadly unfinished. All the characters and some of my own. Though it hasn't gotten to Maes/Roy yet, it's coming. :D

CoM has a few series in that vein, as well as a prequel to M.T. It's posted to FMA_OT4.
