Could someone who's read The Magician's Newphew more recently than I have (re: not years ago) answer for me whether Narnia existed BECAUSE of Aslan's direction or not? I'm a bit foggy on the details, but my general impression was that - "dick" or not - Narnia wouldn't be around at all without him... Yes/no/otherwise?

You mean if Aslan created Narnia?

Originally the children went to a world that was non-narnia. Their second trip took them to a universe/world that was not yet made - so it was all dark and stuff. Then Aslan came and created Narnia and everything in it and basically it's whole universe and stars and suns and weather when he sang. It was intentional.

It was also implied that Narnia wasn't the only world you could 'travel' too. I've always wondered about the others.
