A few weeks ago Ricado was attacked by Shield and Alberto got very upset, then Big Show chose to fight Ricardo to keep his belt knowing that he didn't know how to fight. Alberto got even very mad and pulled Ricado out of the ring to keep him from getting punched. The following week Alberto stormed down the ramp to fight Big Show in a match.

In a way it's evolved from the rich/servent role to where now they're each others close friends.
