Hmm...everyone was on-key and weren't singing in a way that was potentially dangerous to their vocal cords. On the other hand, a lot of the voices lacked color and strength and refinement. So you could say that the singing was correct, but it wasn't necessarily good.

Aaaaand people's perception of a voice's "color" and how much they value a voice having "strength" varies wildly, and a lot of people loved the fact that the voices weren't refined because it sounded more natural.

So uh, how about a big fat "nope" to your comment?

(I do agree that the "all arguments are equal" idea is bogus. Some arguments, however, are equal.)
